Ahoy! - 1

Come across a story of my own. Fiction. Not related to anyone, just want to ramble for soon-to-be hobby of mine; sailing. Heh.

The story begin like this...

...There was a boy, dreaming to be a great sailor, adventurer; fervently fighting for his puny dream some may call it; told him to accept life as a peasant-born. Deep in great revenge to instill remorse for those who mock his dream, he fight on seeking a way, breaking the posterity that has been for so long, born a peasant, always a peasant.

As an act upon his mundane world, he coveting a lot of euphoria in adventures, ambiguity and a dose of delirium; as all great adventurers usually bear ahead upon their life. Simply said, he yearn for a life of not simply 8-to-5 kind of day, working like a robot, fate held by someone who will scrutinize him for small detail and full of power hungry politiking of who does that, who does not. The things will come around and around and around...

...and yeah. He's been thinking, "Why should I play their game? Who are they to mess around with my dreams? How can I live in total freedom? Where and when should I start?"

"If I become a sailor, have a ship of my own, have my own crew-member who shared the same dreams, can I achieve total freedom?"

Been dreaming about having a ship. Not to lavish, dandy kind of ships; modesty is a virtue.
Been searching for a long time in a lot of shipyards, ports, and without a penny in his pocket, many would say that his dream would be laid to waste; anytime.

None in qualification to enter the Trading lines.
Don't have the physiques and wits for the Royal Navy.

Yet he never give up.

Then he come across a pirate crew; looking for fresh meats, they offer him a place and a promise for an adventure. He knows that the pirate are famous for their infamy; treachery, butchery and vulgar behavior. He also know that the pirate are a rich lot, highly skilled in piracy and the cap'n promise him, "You lad are born to be great pirate! Follow us and we will show you what true adventures arrre!"

Mistaking it as an epiphany, he naively accept it. "This can be my stepping stone for a great adventure and now I can start learning by watching these lads on how they live out their life so that I can be as successful as they are."

But deep in his heart, he already laid out some principles. Flexible yet firm, he already laid out a line he never cross; no rums, no whore and above all else, he will never exploit others for his own means.

...then he realize, in time, being with that crew will make him break his principle, let alone let him keep a part of his innocence. He know this line of work will eventually make him go "across" the line, but he kept through thinking that he can endure it and kept his "sanity" above him.

But as time grows old, he just can't take it anymore. Yes, most would say, "You just had to blatantly leave it out as it may be, the world are yours to take, by following us who will achieve something you will never knew you'd have. Frak it. Don't even think of others! Our way is true and Heaven knows, we're doing the right thing to survive; even if its wrong, God knows that we're doing it for survival."

What the frak?

For all he knew in all his life, he want to achieve freedom, happiness... but not through slavery or exploiting others for our own happiness. He want total true love but not illusion through whore's leg. He wanted a cheers with others with green tea but not drenched things over by drinking it away with rums, being a total drunken jerk and smash things over like an animal. That is not civilized in his own book.

He decided to leave. Seeking a solemn solitude, he started things over; with small experience in hand he knows that he will come across his own journey, be it late or later in life, he won't stop searching.

Not that he abandoned his dreams, he stopped and looked back thinking, "Is there any different way or means that can help me achieve my dreams by not breaking through my principle?" Some may say his principle equal to cowardice, but he takes pride in it and as long as it making his heart happy, so be it.

To be continue... (Xdak idea!!!! T___T)

:P

Yeah. Call me nerd or whatever for making Elizabeth Swann my lifetime idol but the love for pirates, sea-folklore and break-the-law adventures never tires me out. Minus the rum nonetheless. Heh.

And yeah, love for the Blues sure brings back memories of my first love for the guitar and the reason why I started learning it... Mmmhmm..... XD
