Sins?

I love talking about ideas. History. Technology. Art. Psychology...

But I got really afraid because everybody says its terribly boringgggg...

Heh.

I also love talking something related to religion. Be it monotheism, polytheism or atheism.

Yes, I am a Muslim. But I don't want to restrict myself, be a rigid extremism saying that other religion are bad, not worth mentioning, their belief contradicting with anything that I believe in. In fact, I did remember that Muhammad S.A.W. always said that we should not put ourselves in a position inferior to that of the followers of other religions. They were also not subjected to a forced conversion and if they want to learn and be a Muslim, self-willingness is the best choice.

Ok. Not that I am impinging into other religion and make it into a subject of discussion; but I do hold true that every religion is good, from the bases of its scriptures, prophets and saints; but ironically people do forget that fact and using religion to bash others to mask their own "earthly" benefit by saying this and that, blaming, accusing weaknesses of the system and mentality of the followers to that of the religion.

Heck. From what I know we as in the "globalization" age did affects us or not, everybody felt the heat coming in as nowadays there is a very thin line for what is "right/good" or "wrong/bad". Religiously speaking.

And everyone, all of us did "hypocritically" did sins (or bad things literally) and still manage making a good face telling everybody, "Oops. I did bad last time. Sorry."

Yeah, all of us is an imperfect being. And everybody has a chance to repent. Most of it for a reason.

Some repent because of we want serenity. Some want a brighter future by not doing "stupid" things and indulging ourselves with jobs hoping it should do the trick.

And when we actually doing that same "bad thing" again, we blame it on the environment, family, stress, blah blah blah.

Then repent again.

Definition of insanity = Doing the same stupid thing over and over again. Expecting a different result.

Geh.

7 sins. Gluttony. Lust. Greed. Sloth. Wrath. Envy. Pride. I do occasionally encounter them and most of the results are not pretty... Sigh~

Gluttony? Over-consumption is my greatest weakness... I think. People may notice it when they see my overweight body and been a witness of my food consummate. Heck. My grandma' always said that we shouldn't waste any good food. Haha.

Greed is the last thing I thought about anyway. I did not crave anything such as pleasuring lifestyle as I've always live in modesty. Yes, we do dream, "Why not I have everything? I am worthy of that, this, etc." BS. I learn to live by this quote, "You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need." But sadly, most people didn't really know what they REALLY need. Haha.

Sloth. Acedia. Related I think. Simple. If One want to become hardworking person, they must have passion. The problem is One must stumble upon it by sheer coincidence. One will know that it is what they desire all along but sadly many of their passion involve something that is "unpopular", "shameful" or "not economically desirable". So they reject their own passion and pursue others that is not what they desire. When you hate what you do, you'll going to do what you hate. Some people may ask how do we know what is our passion anyway? Simple. You'll be doing your passion unconsciously for satisfaction, and you don't really care what the result is. You'll be happy doing it. Be it hobby, interest or anything; you don't really care what others think.

Wrath. Damn. This is complicated. I've been seeing people who live all his/her life living in anger, mad at almost anything. Be it their family, environment, car, weather, etc. Somehow everything is trying to pisses him/her off. One great example is from the old Iliad by Homer. Rage is the first word of the whole poem however, setting the theme that will control the actions of the entire poem, the Rage of Achilles. Modern example = Anakin Skywalker turn Darth Vader.

Envy. I've been living with the notion that my "race" has been living on this very sin and it was also the very reason why my "race" still can't compete with other races. Inferiority. Sheesh. This sin is major. Be it in business, relationship, study etc... I hate this sin.

Lust. I must admit. This is the most "taboo" sin of them all and most people will keep them suppressed OR doing it discreetly. Masturbation, collecting porn, fornication, adultery, scandal, homosexual etc... Heh. Lack of "proper" channel of love some may say is the cause, and some may say that it is human instinct to seek love. Seems everybody seems confused what Lust and Love is. Sigh~.

Pride. Some may say that this sin is the most serious and original than any other sin; that it is indeed the ultimate source from which the others arise. Simple. Do read back the Prophet Muhammad quote at the top of this article and think again.

Bound, Bound and Rebound

A rhyme from the Pixar Short Film - Boundin' . They sure know how to motivate aren't they? =3

Here's a story on how strange is life with its changes
And it happened not long ago.
On a high mountain plain, where the sagebrush arranges
A playground south of the snow
Lived a lamb with a coat of remarkable sheen,
It would glint in the sunlight all sparkly and clean,
Such a source of great pride that it caused him to preen.
And he'd break out in high stepp'n dance.
He would dance for his neighbors across the way.
I must say that they found his dancin' enhancin',
For they'd also join in the play.

Then one day…

T___T

Then a-boundin up the slope
Came a great American jackalope.
This sage of the sage, this rare hare of hope,
Caused to pause and check out the lamb... “Hey kid, why the mope?”

“I used to be something all covered with fluff,
And I’d dance in the sunlight and show off my stuff,
Then they hauled me away in a manner quite rough
And sheared me and dropped me back here in the buff.
And if that’s not enough
Now my friends all laugh at me
Cause they think I look ridiculous, funny, and pink.”

“Pink? Pink? Well, what’s wrong with pink?
Seems you’ve got a pink kink in your think.
Does it matter what color? Well, that gets nope.
Be it pink purple or heliotrope.

Now sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down,
When you find that you’re down well just look around:
You still got a body, good legs and fine feet,
Get your head in the right place and hey, you’re complete!

Now as for the dancin’, you can do more,
You can reach great heights, in fact you can soar.
You just get a leg up and ya slap it on down,
And you’ll find you’re up in what’s called a bound.
Bound, bound, and rebound.
Bound and you’re up right next to the sky,
And I think you can do it if you give it a try,
First get a leg up, slap it on down…”

...^_^

So every year, along about May,
They’d load him up and they’d haul him away,
And they’d shave him and dump him all naked and bare.
He learned to live with it, he didn’t care,
He’d just bound, bound, bound, and rebound.

Now in this world of ups and downs…
So nice to know there are jackalopes around.

p/s: So nice to know there are nice people around... ^_^

Pure Imagination

A song from the original Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory - Pure Imagination sure strikes me hard!! xD

Willy Wonka:
[Spoken]
Hold your breath
Make a wish
Count to three

[Sung]
Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it

There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it

There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be

...

Conference?

It's been a while since I last participated in any kind of event, so I've been delighted in yesterday's event - 3rd ThinkLab Design Conference; The New Malaysian Design Agenda.

All of the speakers are renown for their contribution in their own field like design, business and technology:

Prof. Dato Dr. Ahmad Hj. Zainuddin -  Majlis Rekabentuk Malaysia Chairman
  • Malaysia is 40th in design ranking in the world... quite low isn't it? +_+
  • He also presented on how can design build-up and make-up the economy of a country; Japan and Korea as a case study on how their enthusiasm in designing things better, solving problems.
  • Most people will look into the after-service of product after considering price.
  • 6 things to look into:
    1. How geopolitics affects trends. (Rise of the East - US and EU consumer are now craving for products that comes from the East)
    2. Demographics - The declining of the Baby Boomers and the rise of Generation-Y - How their behavior affecting demand and trends.
    3. New technology such as Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and Digital Cultures (E-book, Blog) dominates people nowadays. Two-third of the world Internet population use social networks and it is increasing day by day...
    4. Urbanization
    5. Global Warming - Green is the Word for the Future.
Shukor Yahya - Graphic Designer and Contemporary Artist www.kufikufi.com
  • Renown for his painting involving Kufi khat, most of his talk emphasizes idea in making design as a plan for future changes.
  • His favorite quote, "Make peace first, than together we progress." Heh. I like this quote.. ^_^
  • He presented 6 model ideas for the Jabatan Perdana Menteri worth looking for in improving Malaysia Creative Industry.

Michael Teoh - Youth Entrepreneurs Malaysia Co-founder
  • His portfolio is so overwhelmingly plenty I just can't list it all of!!
  • And I like this guy!! XD

Jeremy Little - Laguna Music Founder
  • Popular with his band Prana, he and his brother founded Laguna Music to help promote and developed indie artists such as Estrella, Seven Collar T-shirt and many more.
  • He presented on the background on how the indie scene first coming up and how the old trend differ from the new one; like at first indie music revolve around English, but now people are starting coming back with Malay songs. Ironically.
  • People from around the world take quite a liking in Malaysian music scene because of its uniqueness. It got so many style and influence like ABC and that's why it is unique!! People are not bothered by just one style instead they have the power to choose which genre they prefer. Heck. Never realize that before... :D
  • US and UK has ventured around Asia searching for new talents; example like Zee Avi and Yuna. They want to venture into a new style and people from those country demanding new and original music as they've been bored by their own music industry... To much R&B perhaps? Ironically, we Malaysian didn't even appreciate one from our own...
  • We had to brand our own talent and support our own community.

Ismail Ibrahim - CEO of GeoSense Sdn. Bhd.
  • His company specializes on UAV - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
  • The technology is progressing so fast as the knowledge can only be found in our door-step by just clicking away...
  • How the technology pushes us forward while co-exist and symbiotic with design pushes it further.
  • Different design and technology lead to different means - Military uses, Civilian uses etc.

Elizabeth Cardosa - Executive Director of Badan Warisan Malaysia
  • She is a conservationist, architect and designer and had a liberty to explore many kind of cultural diverse and different landscapes.
  • A search for distinction of style in Malaysian Design always fail and most of the search has led to nothing substantially. Most of style has been the same with some in any other region because of our diverse influence and the perception of the old and the new.
  • How do we interpret Malaysia?
  • The designer had to know these basic rules:
  1. Know your Community
  2. Know your Cultural Background
  3. Know your Tradition
  4. Know your Climate
  5. Know your Material
  6. Know your Craftmen
  7. Know your Craft
  • A quote from UNESCO, "Our cultural identity is forged in the environment in which we live." So we had to accept that Malaysia had no monopolizing style that solely define Malaysia as a whole.
And then we had our little breakout and discussion ensued among respected teams regarding Malaysian Design issues...

Thanks to William-Harald Wong for sharing your insights and your experience in the design world... :D

After the events ended, me, Pali and Jambu take a stroll around Balai Seni Lukis Negara (National Art Gallery) and gaze upon Japanese Design Today 100 Exhibition and Underwater Scenerist of Malaysia Exhibition.

Found this book under a pile of other design books at Basyeer booth just outside of the conference... :P
Ironically, we always hide from any criticism from doing nothing. Right?

p/s: I had to stop obsessing over something that I can't measure. Maybe doing things like attending seminar and events can keep me occupied and busy like I used to. Had to seek a new purpose in life and as far as I know, I've lost mine before and I do hope seeking a new one will not get me down-under again. Do pray that I do well this time. Correction. REALLY well. By the way, I use "ironically" word quite often this time around. I don't know why... :S

Cheers.

    The Code of Conduct

Come across some random "bikers code" in the net... Damn I like this code! It has some kind of principle in it that sure clicks with me. Heck.

I ride purely, and only, because it is fun.

I ride because I enjoy the freedom I feel from being exposed to the elements, and the vulnerability to the danger that is intrinsic to riding.

I do not ride because it is fashionable to do so.

I ride my machine, not wear it.

My machine is not a symbol of status.

It exists simply for me, and me alone.

My machine is not a toy.

It is an extension of my being, and I will treat it accordingly, with the same respect as I have for myself.

I strive to understand the inner-workings of my machine, from the most basic to the most complex.

I will learn everything I can about my machine, so that I am reliant upon no one but myself for its health and well-being.

I strive to constantly better my skill of control over my machine.

I will learn its limits, and use my skill to become one with my machine so that we may keep each other alive.

I am the master, it is the servant.

Working together in harmony, we will become an invincible team.

    I do not fear death.

I will, however, do all possible to avoid death prematurely.

Fear is the enemy, not death.

Fear on the highway leads to death, therefore I will not let fear be my master.

    I will master it.

    My machines will outlive me.

    Therefore, they are my legacy.

I will care for them for future bikers to cherish as I have cherished them, whoever they may be.

I do not ride to gain attention, respect, or fear from those that do NOT ride, nor do I wish to intimidate or annoy them.

For those that do not know me, all I wish from them is to ignore me.

For those that desire to know me, I will share with them the truth of myself, so that they might understand me and not fear others like me.

I will never be the aggressor on the highway.

However, should others mess with me, their aggression will be dealt with in as severe a manner as I can cast upon them.

I will show respect to other bikers more experienced or knowledgeable than I am.

I will learn from them all I can.

I will not show disrespect to other bikers less experienced or knowledgeable than I am.

I will teach them what I can.

It will be my task to mentor new riders, that so desire, into the lifestyle of the biker, so that the breed shall continue.

I shall instruct them, as I have been instructed by those before me.

I shall preserve and honor traditions of bikers before me, and I will pass them on unaltered.

I will not judge other bikers on their choice of machine, their appearance, or their profession.

I will judge them only on their conduct as bikers.

I am proud of my accomplishments as a biker, though I will not flaunt them to others.

If they ask, I will share them.

I will stand ready to help any other biker that truly needs my help.

I will never ask another biker to do for me what I can do for myself.

    I am not a part-time biker.

I am a biker when, and where ever I go.

I am proud to be a biker, and I hide my chosen lifestyle from no one.

I ride because I love freedom, independence, and the movement of the ground beneath me.

But most of all, I ride to better understand myself, my machine, the lands in which I ride, and to seek out and know other bikers like myself.

Def Leppard - Two Steps Behind

Walk away if you want to
it's ok, if you need to

you can run, but you can never hide
See my shadow come creeping up beside you
There's a magic running through your soul
But you can't have it all

    Whatever you do
I'll be two steps behind you
    Wherever you go
and I'll be there to remind you
that it only takes a minute of your precious time
to turn around and I'll be two steps behind.

    Take the time
    and think about it
Walk the line, you just can't fight it
Look around and see what you can find
Like a fire that's burning up inside me,
There's a magic running through your soul
But you can't have it all

    Whatever you do
I'll be two steps behind you
    Wherever you go
and I'll be there to remind you
that it only takes a minute of your precious time
to turn around and I'll be two steps behind.

    (so watch out)

There's a magic running through your soul
but you can't have it all, no,
    Whatever you do
I'll be two steps behind you

    wherever you go
and I'll be there to remind you
that it only takes a minute of your precious time
To turn around and I'll be two steps behind.
Just turn around, I'll be two steps behind
I'll be two steps behind you
and I'll be there to remind you,
    yeeeeaaah, yeeeeeeah
    ...

p/s: But if you did forget about me, it can't be help. Right?
No one is free when others are oppressed.

    The Book

Been bombarded by many post-apocalyptic stories be it by games, comic and movies; I did think we human did prophecies that our own end will be done with our own hands. Nuclear war (letak bom sebijik smua clear), plague and disaster (triggered by our massive rape of nature); we human really are a hypocrisy creature. Heh.

Watching Book of Eli really takes me back, back when I was playing Fallout III and reading Fist of the North Star. The premise and the latter maybe a bit cliche; people killing and eating each other out for survival, a thousand years old of civilizations destroyed in a mere time-frame by a mass of WMD weapon, and the hero of the story indestructibly strong because of his knowledge of the past kept him alive apart from his counterpart.

And yet, I'm touched. This movie really depict well about how important the religion is. How it gives hope to someone who had none. Especially in a world of dog-eat-dog, people looking out for messiah in bestowing them with sacred words, and how we misused them for our own gain and disillusioned them by saying it is God's will. Carnegie's will is not uncommon, for his method had been used throughout mankind's history; using religion and belief controlling hopefuls by giving them sacred motivation. It is a weapon; like Carnegie said, but I beg to differ. It is just like a knife, when used to cut for food; it isn't a weapon. But when it is used to gut someones gully, it is a weapon. Different method led to a different means.

Doesn't matter which kind of Book the story's relating into, the message is still the same; but I like this quote from Eli the most:
"People had more than they needed. We had no idea what was precious and what wasn't. We threw away things people kill each other now."
We never know good things until it is lost forever. Right?

    :)

p/s: Now I know why Macaulay Culkins love her. Heh.

    Tuesday, March 2

No motive. Just want to share a certain point of view on how we "interpret" people around us. Heh.

    Nerd
    • One whose IQ exceeds his weight.
    • An individual persecuted for his superior skills or intellect, most often by people who fear and envy him.
    • A person who gains pleasure from amassing large quantities of knowledge about subjects often too detailed or complicated for most other people to be bothered with.
Often mistaken for Geeks, who aspire to become nerds, yet lack the intelligence, and end up giving nerds a bad name due to their poor social skills.
Non-nerds are often scared of nerds, due to their detailed knowledge, and therefore seemingly high levels of intelligence - and subsequently degenerate them as much as possible as often as possible.
Nerds exist covertly within the fabric of society, often choosing to 'nerd it up' in private or in the company of fellow nerds. It is for this reason they are feared the most - unlike geeks, who are easily identified, nerds can only be found out when casual conversation reaches a subject that they like nerding.
    Hipster
    • They listens to bands that you have never heard of. Has hairstyle that can only be described as "complicated." (Most likely achieved by a minimum of one week not washing it.) Probably tattooed. Maybe gay. Definitely cooler than you. Reads Black Book, Nylon, and the Styles section of the New York Times. Drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon. Often. Complains. Always denies being a hipster. Hates the word. Probably living off parents money - and spends a great deal of it to look like they don't have any. Has friends and/or self cut hair. Dyes it frequently (black, white-blond, etc. and until scalp bleeds). Has a closet full of clothing but usually wears same three things OVER AND OVER (most likely very tight black pants, scarf, and ironic tee-shirt). Chips off nail polish artfully after $50 manicure. Sleeps with everyone and talks about it at great volume in crowded coffee shops. Addicted to coffee, cigarettes (Parliaments, Kamel Reds, Lucky Strikes, etc.), and possibly cocaine. Claims to be in a band. Rehearsals consist of choosing outfits for next show and drinking PBR. Always on the list. Majors or majored in art, writing, or queer studies. Name-drops. May go by "Penny Lane," "Eleanor Rigby," etc. when drunk. On PBR. Which is usually.
    Indie Kids
    • Kids between the age of 13-22 who are full of themselves and feel superior because their music isn't mainstream and who will bash anything that's mainstream, even if it's something good. They tend to be arrogant and rude, and they think that they are just the coolest shit ever. They only listen to indie music and are hypocrites because while they bash the scene kids, they too all fall into a similar style by wearing tight jeans, faded colors, and converse. They also like short, dark hair for girls and longer hair for boys. Indie-pop and indie are two majorly different things to them. Tell them that you like The Ting Tings or New Young Pony Club and they will laugh at you like the judgemental bastards that they are because that is not REAL indie you idiot. They are way too caught up in music and it's their entire life. They will only be friends with you if you like their music, otherwise, no matter how friendly or funny or charming you are, they will hate you simply because of your subjective taste. However, if you do manage to befriend an indie kid, it can be good because if they like you they will defend you to the death. They also can introduce you to lesser-known bands that will be forgotten in ten years and help you embrace the 'vintage' style of old plaid shirts and color palletes of gray and brown.
    Emos
    • An "Emo" really is just a confused teenager. The entire Emo subculture is rooted in music. Emo is short for "emotional" or "emotional hardcore." This type of music came about in D.C. in the 80's (before most self-proclaimed emos were even born.) The type of people who listened to this music had common tastes in fashion, and like many other fashion eras, they all began dressing the same way. Now the term Emo is associated more with behavior and style than it is with music. Simply don a pair of Converse, a studded belt, head-to-toe black, and angled bangs, and voila--you're an Emo. Of course, there is the debate over real and wannabe Emos, but really they're all the same. They purposely choose to dress a certain way, act a certain way, listen to (or pretend to listen to) certain music, despite what their motives are. Whether their motives are sincere or superficial, all Emos have chosen to conform to a group of people they feel safe with. They would rather be called "weird" than be themselves and think for themselves. The ones that call themselves real Emos look and act (on the surface) like wannabe Emos. The only difference may be that they are truly admirers of the music scene, or that they truly have difficult family lives. Either way, they are all just this generation's subculture. Just like the Grunge group of the 90s or the Hippies of the 60s, the Emos have found their stereotypical shoe, their theme song, their color, and their attitude, and they will fight for it until death (or until they grow weary of cutting themselves). If they do cut themselves, you will know it. The entire point of cutting is to garner sympathy and attention. Never will you find an Emo who secretly cuts him or herself. Emos are really just searching for a place to call home. Every teenager has to find some group to associate with, lest they be left out. In this way, Emos are no different than the Chavs. The Chavs are just looking for a group to fit into as well. While the Chav group may be much more dim-witted and emotionally numb, they too are just a group of scared teenagers looking for a family. One day, both Emos and Chavs will look back on their silly little phases and laugh. They'll also look back on their ridiculous Urban Dictionary entires and wonder how they were able to graduate from high school with such poor grammar and spelling skills.
    Yuppie
    • Informal for (Y)oung (U)rban (P)rofessional, or Yup, turned into yuppie in the 1980's. A term used to describe someone who is young, possibly just out of college, and who has a high-paying job and an affluent lifestyle. Can now be used to describe any rich person who is not modest about their financial status. Yuppiedom (yuppie-dum) is a term used to describe an involvement in being a yuppie.
    • A very arrogant well put together young urban professional who you more than likely will find wearing Gucci and Prada with a large bank account which they love to brag about. You can find them drinking Starbucks, living in a one bedroom apartment in a city where they will pay 1000-2000 a month for and spending another 3000 a month on their credit cards. They brag about their designer clothes and love to flaunt them , as well as their wealth. They look down upon anyone who isn't as wealthy or high status as they are. Men are likely to be found wearing designer suits, Gucci preferably with slicked back or well cut hair. The women will be wearing Prada/Gucci and Fendi. The most arrogant conceited f***s on the planet.
    Snob
    • Anyone who thinks they are better than someone else based upon superficial factors.
    • Someone who claims to be of higher intelligence than others, understands the finer thing in life, and generally deems themself a higher being than most others; they often refer to the 'lesser beings' as peasant or philistines. In simple terms, snobs are wankers.
    • A snob is a person that acts as if he or she is superior than you and would not care to hurt your feelings by making you feel inferior with whatever excuse they can find such us wealth, fashion, taste, knowledge, you name it. They make you feel bad with yourself and are convinced that is a cool thing to do because they think you should learn what they are talking about because they get it better that you, they deserve it you don't, they belong you don't, they are smarter you don't, they are the last coca-cola in the desert. In short: if hells exists, it is full of snobs that will spend eternity snobing each other.
    P/s: I love UrbanDictionary.com!!! XD

    Ahoy! - 1

Come across a story of my own. Fiction. Not related to anyone, just want to ramble for soon-to-be hobby of mine; sailing. Heh.

    The story begin like this...

...There was a boy, dreaming to be a great sailor, adventurer; fervently fighting for his puny dream some may call it; told him to accept life as a peasant-born. Deep in great revenge to instill remorse for those who mock his dream, he fight on seeking a way, breaking the posterity that has been for so long, born a peasant, always a peasant.

As an act upon his mundane world, he coveting a lot of euphoria in adventures, ambiguity and a dose of delirium; as all great adventurers usually bear ahead upon their life. Simply said, he yearn for a life of not simply 8-to-5 kind of day, working like a robot, fate held by someone who will scrutinize him for small detail and full of power hungry politiking of who does that, who does not. The things will come around and around and around...

...and yeah. He's been thinking, "Why should I play their game? Who are they to mess around with my dreams? How can I live in total freedom? Where and when should I start?"

"If I become a sailor, have a ship of my own, have my own crew-member who shared the same dreams, can I achieve total freedom?"

Been dreaming about having a ship. Not to lavish, dandy kind of ships; modesty is a virtue.
Been searching for a long time in a lot of shipyards, ports, and without a penny in his pocket, many would say that his dream would be laid to waste; anytime.

None in qualification to enter the Trading lines.
Don't have the physiques and wits for the Royal Navy.

    Yet he never give up.

Then he come across a pirate crew; looking for fresh meats, they offer him a place and a promise for an adventure. He knows that the pirate are famous for their infamy; treachery, butchery and vulgar behavior. He also know that the pirate are a rich lot, highly skilled in piracy and the cap'n promise him, "You lad are born to be great pirate! Follow us and we will show you what true adventures arrre!"

Mistaking it as an epiphany, he naively accept it. "This can be my stepping stone for a great adventure and now I can start learning by watching these lads on how they live out their life so that I can be as successful as they are."

But deep in his heart, he already laid out some principles. Flexible yet firm, he already laid out a line he never cross; no rums, no whore and above all else, he will never exploit others for his own means.

...then he realize, in time, being with that crew will make him break his principle, let alone let him keep a part of his innocence. He know this line of work will eventually make him go "across" the line, but he kept through thinking that he can endure it and kept his "sanity" above him.

But as time grows old, he just can't take it anymore. Yes, most would say, "You just had to blatantly leave it out as it may be, the world are yours to take, by following us who will achieve something you will never knew you'd have. Frak it. Don't even think of others! Our way is true and Heaven knows, we're doing the right thing to survive; even if its wrong, God knows that we're doing it for survival."

    What the frak?

For all he knew in all his life, he want to achieve freedom, happiness... but not through slavery or exploiting others for our own happiness. He want total true love but not illusion through whore's leg. He wanted a cheers with others with green tea but not drenched things over by drinking it away with rums, being a total drunken jerk and smash things over like an animal. That is not civilized in his own book.

He decided to leave. Seeking a solemn solitude, he started things over; with small experience in hand he knows that he will come across his own journey, be it late or later in life, he won't stop searching.

Not that he abandoned his dreams, he stopped and looked back thinking, "Is there any different way or means that can help me achieve my dreams by not breaking through my principle?" Some may say his principle equal to cowardice, but he takes pride in it and as long as it making his heart happy, so be it.

To be continue... (Xdak idea!!!! T___T)

    :P

Yeah. Call me nerd or whatever for making Elizabeth Swann my lifetime idol but the love for pirates, sea-folklore and break-the-law adventures never tires me out. Minus the rum nonetheless. Heh.

And yeah, love for the Blues sure brings back memories of my first love for the guitar and the reason why I started learning it... Mmmhmm..... XD
